    182601 - Give and Go Soccer

    Give & Go Soccer Camp is for children and young adults with special needs and focuses on teaching and developing soccer skills. Participants will have the opportunity to work with Trumbull High School students in various drills and games. An emphasis will be placed on teamwork and sportsmanship aiming to improve self–esteem and working in a group.

    Participants should bring a water bottle each day.

    A parent or aide should remain with any children under the age of 10 or children with severe disabilities.

    185100 - Adaptive Martial Arts

    This program is designed to introduce students with special needs to Martial Arts, and is tailored to accommodate a range of special needs issues and developmental challenges. Students will learn balance, control, coordination, vocabulary, as well as basic Karate moves and principles, while developing self-respect and confidence.  Students age 7 and up, and their family members, are invited! Students may also try their first class for free.

    Note: The program requires participation with a minimum of one parent or aide who must attend the class and assist with their own children.

    185101 - Inclusive Kickball

    Trumbull will offer an inclusive kickball league this summer for children ages 10-16. This program will aim to run a drop in kickball game each week for children with and without special needs. The game will be modified slightly for individuals who may need it. Each week teams will change depending on who shows up. There will be no innings. The games will be 1 hour.

    The program is meant to include siblings and friends! Sign up as duo!

    Certified yoga instructor, Charles Sikorski, leads this class for children and adults with special needs. Students will learn the basics of yoga including breathing, stretching and meditative techniques.

    A family member or aide is asked to remain through the class.
