Pickleball is a rapidly growing sport among adults and seniors. The game is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong played on a badminton sized court and a slightly modified net. It was created so that all ages and ability levels can participate. Rules are simple and the game is easy to learn for beginners but the game can become fast-paced and competitive for experienced players.

Beginners lessons will be offered with Dave Kardas, of Fairfield County Tennis, at the newly lined outdoor pickle ball courts located at Tashua Knolls. In this class we will teach the rules of Pickleball as well as different types of shots (forehand, backhand, volley and serve), as well as supervised play from our instructor.
